Buckner Builders, Inc. was founded in 1971 by Danny Buckner, a long-time resident of Lockhart, Texas. Growing up around the construction business, Danny always imagined the possibilities of helping people accomplish their goals by building their dream home or business. After high school he attended Southwest Texas State University (now known as Texas State University at San Marcos) and studied Industrial Technology. Danny proudly graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 1970 and immediately began his career as an independent contractor. He has built hundreds of homes in Caldwell, Hays, Bastrop, and Gonzales counties. Danny has also helped countless stakeholders build quality commercial construction projects. He has built churches, BBQ businesses, and electric company offices. On the weekends he enjoys hunting, fishing, and watching his two grandsons play sports.
